Piqua Christian School is a private K–12 institution dedicated to providing a Christ-centered education that prepares students both academically and spiritually. As a ministry of our local Apostolic church, PCS exists to develop young men and women who are grounded in truth, strong in character, and equipped to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Our comprehensive academic program includes core subjects, biblical instruction, and opportunities for students to participate in athletics, leadership development, and concurrent enrollment for college credit.
In addition to academic rigor, we prioritize spiritual growth through weekly chapel services, daily prayer, and the integration of Biblical principles into every aspect of school life. We believe education should not only sharpen the mind but also shape the heart. PCS partners closely with families to support each student’s growth and help them discover God’s purpose for their life.

Piqua Christian School was birthed out of Piqua Apostolic Temple in 1975 through the vision and burden of Pastor Dorsey Simmons, who recognized the growing need for a place where children could receive both quality education and strong Apostolic teaching. His heart for the next generation gave birth to a school built not only on academic standards, but on Biblical truth.
Shortly after its founding, Pastor Daniel Hathaway stepped into leadership and faithfully carried out the mission for decades. Under his steady guidance, the school remained committed to raising up students who were grounded in the Word and equipped to live boldly for Christ.
In 2022, Pastor Dan Mundy became the lead pastor of PAT and continues to carry the burden for Christian education in our community. Today, Piqua Christian School stands as a living legacy with 50 years of students trained, lives changed, and truth upheld.
